Child Policy

Children under 6 years stay and dine free when sharing existing bedding with their parents.

Children aged 6 to under 12 years are charged 50% of the applicable adult meal rate.

Guests aged 12 years and above are considered adults. A maximum of two children is permitted per room, subject to room occupancy limits.

Extra Bed Policy

Child rates include applicable meal charges only and do not include extra beds.

Extra beds must be requested separately and will be charged per bed, subject to availability and the room configuration.

Applicable Rate

The Sri Lankan rate made available through the online booking engine in LKR, are only applicable for Sri Lankan citizens and Sri Lankan resident visa holders.

Verification (Sri Lankan National ID or Passport) will also be requested at the resort during check-in to confirm nationality.

If a guest books the Sri Lankan rate and a foreign national(s) is part of the group, the standard foreign rate will be charged for that guest(s) at the resort during check-in.

If a foreign national does book the Sri Lankan rate, then the difference between the Sri Lankan rate and the standard foreign rate will have to be paid.

Payment & Cancellation Policy

Flexible Cancellation: Free cancellation up to 7 days prior to scheduled arrival date. For cancellations made less than 7 days prior to check-in or no-shows, the advance deposit or first night fee is non-refundable.

Secure Online Payment: All credit and debit card transactions are protected by 256-bit SSL encryption. We do not store your sensitive payment credentials.

Split Payments: If selecting the 50% advance deposit option, the remaining 50% balance is payable upon check-in at resort reception via Cash or Card.

Booking (Reservation) Disputes

If a dispute arises with regard to a reservation made with Giman Free Beach Resort, then Giman Free Beach Resort has the sole authority to resolve or cancel the reservation by informing the guest via email. The reservation amount will be refunded in full minus any bank or processing charges to the credit card of the guest.
